Adventure Island, located in the heart of Balham is a wondrous space. Treasure Island themed soft play frames, sensory zones, disco room with dancing competitions and a magical theatre show - the perfect location for your little one's big day!

What's included on the day?

Bertie and Boo performed over 1000 magic shows last year.

We begin with 40 minute's interactive play (hopefully parents can relax and have a coffee or a glass of wine at this point!) as Bertie and Boo jump about playing treasure hunts, shark infested seas-and a fun disco with dancing competitions and prizes!

We leave play (slightly red faced!) and sit down to a picnic tea individually presented in fun, colourful buckets and spades. We sing happy birthday when the cake comes out and then after food it's magic show time!

Bertie and Boo performed over 1000 magic shows last years and these shows are packed with comedy and fun! Shows include wondrous magic, a visit from one of our delightful (and usually very naughty!) puppets, a birthday present magically conjured from thin air by your little one, interactive songs, dancing and hilarious props.

The booking fee includes exclusive hire of the entire building, with an attentive team looking after the adults also..so you can feel relaxed throughout the party and concentrate on the most important thing - having fun!

Adventure Island is perfect for little ones - from 5 years down to toddlers and babies and Bounce venues are perfect for children 3 years to 6 years.

Adventure Island SW17 offers:
Package 1 (unlimited adults and up to x 20 children)
Package 2 (unlimited adults and 20+ children)

Brunch time party slots- 10.00am-11.30am, Lunch time party slots- 12.00pm-1.30pm, Lunch time (2) party slots- 2.00pm-3.30pm, Tea time party slots- 4.00pm-5.30pm.

Bertie and Boo parties are packed with fun disco's, games, food and a family magic show. The first 40 minutes is classed as 'free play' with interactive play time with the performer and a chance to explore the tiered pirate ship, sensory areas, role play kitchen, ball pool and slide and mini tree house. The first 40 minutes is designed to be relaxed with parents arriving and dropping the children in that time (with no worries about late comers!). After 40 minutes and once everyones arrives, the whole party becomes a little more structured with food time, birthday cake and then the magic show, which is the highlight of the event:) The whole event lasts for 1.5 hours and (timings are 40-play, 20-food-, 30-show) with enough time at the end for party bags, balloons if ordered, putting on shoes, pick ups etc. It is designed to conclude and then a slow wind down so nobody feels rushed. 



Bertie and Boo are party venues so are decorated, with fun music and teams to look after little ones and adults alike. You are more than welcome to bring more decorations on the day if there is a certain theme your little one loves etc.. although not necessary. The whole idea of a Bertie and Boo party is to arrive with a cake and just enjoy!
  
In the week leading to your party  you will receive an email (on the Monday before) asking for final numbers and dietary requirements. It will also offer the chance to book in party bags, hot food upgrade, balloon modelling and adult extras such as prosecco on arrival, cheese boards, charcuterie boards..etc..if you so wish.
Just bring a cake:)
The whole venue is exclusively yours: The whole venue and soft play is exclusively yours so the children can stretch and run. The events team will have set up before you arrive with balloons and music playing and two teams will be on standby- one team dedicated to looking after the adult guests and Bertie and Boo ready to meet, greet and entertain the little guests.

Adventure themed soft play: Bertie and Boo jump about in the play areas with the children for about 40 minutes which always includes either the upbeat laser-tag games (for older children) or a fun disco with dancing competitions and treasure hunts through the tiered pirate ships. 
Food for all the children is included: Appearing (slightly red faced :) we are ready for a picnic tea of fun buckets and spades! -Filled with sandwiches, fresh fruit, organic juice boxes and hula hoop and pom-bear crisps running through the table.. The birthday cake is brought out and we all sing happy birthday and then cut for yummy pudding!
                                                                                                                                                                                          
N:B In the week before the party you will also be given the option to upgrade to hot food with homemade Margarita pizzas and hot sausages running through the table also- if preferred.

Wondrous Magic Show: After food it's  family magic show time! - filled with puppetry, singing and wondrous visual magic. The upbeat magic show lasts for approximately 30 minutes and concludes the party.
Peace of mind:) Bertie and Boo parties are super flexible. If you need to move your party to another date or cancel at any time you can. Even on the day of the party if you need to cancel, you can -with a full refund as Adventure Island will open to the public if we are not booked out privately.

  • Magic Show Party 1 Monday - Thursday - Up to 20 children: £429.00+vat
  • Magic Show party 2 Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Up to 20 children: £469.00+vat
  • Magic Show Party 3 Friday, Saturday, Sunday- £549.00+vat (20+ Children 33 Max)
