Decide on a venue well in advance. The more space the better
Consider holding the party in the morning slot, either 10.30am – 12.30pm or 11am to 1pm. In our experience the children have a lot more energy and you can provide lunch instead of tea
Send out invitations a month beforehand
Put balloons outside venue
Have a box for your child’s present, this means that they can open them later and you will know who they are from, which is great for thank you letters
We always encourage the parents to get involved in the show as the children seem to enjoy it more.
Avoid putting whistles or blowers on the table, it will make it more peaceful for you
Avoid having loose balloons on the floor, as these can be a big distraction. Tie them up and distribute them at the end of the party.
